Just Cause 2 Demo Dated
Square Enix London (formerly Eidos), has revealed that the Just Cause 2 demo will be released on March 4, 2010. Available for the PS3, PC, and Xbox360, the demo will be massive, featuring a 35 square-mile area of the Lautan Lama Desert in-game. Read on for the press info.
Friday 26th February/…Square Enix London Studios, a part of Square Enix Europe, today announced an incredible, action-packed demo for the hotly anticipated freeroaming action game Just Cause 2 will release on March 4th, 2010.
Available for PlayStation® 3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PC, the Just Cause 2 demo will feature a massive 35 square miles of the Lautan Lama Desert, a vast expanse of stunning, sun-scorched scenery taking up just one of the many islands in the 400 square miles of the Panau archipelago. Packed with towns, villages, military installations, mountain ranges, missions and more, the demo will feature an astonishing amount of activities for the player… and opportunities for adrenaline-fuelled chaos are limitless.
Hunt down and assassinate one of the game’s 50 military colonels; devastate military bases, bio fuel chambers, government infrastructure and more; hijack tuk tuks, military 4×4s, armoured vehicles, mopeds, helicopter gunships, light aircraft, mini vans and numerous other military and civilian vehicles; freefall from desert outcrops or from burning planes at 20,000 feet; and unlock one full, multi-stage mission, traversing the mountains to a heavily fortified government radar station and ending in an unforgettable desert car chase.

The Just Cause 2 demo will be available March 4th, 2010, on PlayStation®Network, Xbox LIVE® Marketplace and Steam.
As Rico Rodriguez, the Agency’s most powerful weapon, players must take on the island of Panau and its military regime in order to track down Rico’s former boss and mentor, Tom Sheldon, who has gone rogue with millions in Agency cash and intel. The demo is available for Xbox360 XBL Gold members, and will be available for Playstation 3 users on Thursday, March 4. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed DLC For PS3 Released
Better late than never, or so they say. Today, Lucasarts announced a download level called “The Secret Apprentice” for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on the PS3. The level is an entirely new mission on Hoth that continues the story in a new “Infinites” storyline. The Xbox360 DLC will be available later this month. Also remember, the Force Unleashed II comes out later this year. Read on for the official press info.
A new single-player level for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is available for download now for PlayStation 3 owners through the PlayStation Network. The level features The “Secret Apprentice” in an entirely new mission on Hoth that continues the story of The Force Unleashed in a new “Infinities” storyline that takes the Star Wars Saga in an entirely new and unexpected direction.
The new Hoth mission will be available for Xbox 360 owners through Xbox LIVE Marketplace on February 23.
The Hoth level concludes the “Infinities” storyline set up in the previously available Tatooine mission, as the Secret Apprentice is sent to the planet Hoth to crush the Rebellion once and for all. While on Hoth, players face Luke Skywalker himself while visiting iconic locations seen in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed completely re-imagines the scope and scale of the Force and casts players as Darth Vader’s “Secret Apprentice,” unveiling new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy seen through the eyes of a mysterious new character armed with unprecedented powers. El Segundo, CA – February 17, 2010- Konami Digital Entertainment Inc., today announced it will publish N3II: Ninety-Nine Nights for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. This sequel, based on the all-action combat game Ninety-Nine Nights, will pick up the story where the original left off and take it to all new heights.
Set on a ravaged world, N3II: Ninety-Nine Nights invites the player to take on all comers in a series of spectacular battles. Players can enjoy the story from five different perspectives – including humans, elves and goblins – and are pitted against wave after wave of adversaries in the ultimate ‘last man standing’ free-for-all. Each of the species is given a specific back story which unfolds as the game progresses, while the various races also bring unique skills and abilities to the battle field.
At its heart, N3II: Ninety-Nine Nights is a vast combat title, with hundreds of enemy creatures on screen simultaneously. As the camera picks over the action, the player can use a wealth of easily-effected combo attacks to carve a path through the enemy, and also use whatever weapons and items come to hand. At the end of each skirmish, players will then face a ‘Titanic Boss Battle’ against the champion of their current adversary, with players forced to move quickly and locate the well hidden weak spots of these seemingly unstoppable behemoths.
N3II: Ninety-Nine Nights also has a stunning two-player co-op online mode, wherein players team up against the oncoming hordes, working together to expand their combo range to take out more enemy assailants at once. This two-player mode features online ranking boards detailing the most effective pairings across the globe.

Dead Rising 2 Gets Release Date, Downloadable Prologue
Capcom has confirmed that Dead Rising 2 will be released here in the states on August 31, 2010 (Europe on September 3). XBox360 gamers will be able to get a taste of the game in the form of a downloadable prologue, Dead Rising 2: CASE ZERO, shortly before the full game is released. The Dead Rising series is renowned for letting players pick up and use everyday items to fend off hordes of the undead, but Dead Rising 2 adds a new twist with combination weapons. Take two objects, add a roll of tape plus the inventiveness and skilled hands of Chuck Greene and hey presto, an innocent water gun and a can of gasoline become a deadly flamethrower, while a garden rake and car battery combine to create an electrified zombie prod.
Creating and using combination weapons will not just result in novel ways to tackle Dead Rising 2’s shuffling cast of thousands as the more combo weapons a player uses, the more Prestige Points (PPs) they will rack up. Earn enough PPs and Chuck levels up, which in turn delivers its own benefits.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Officially Announced
We told you it was coming, and here it is. Today, Ubisoft has officially announced a new Ghost Recon game. GR: Future Soldier is in development at Ubisoft’s Paris HQ. The game is set for release this holiday season (2010). Ubisoft is also going to be offering a beta test program this Summer, and the Xbox360 multiplayer beta test access codes will be provided to players who purchase Splinter Cell: Conviction.
