Evian Commercial both Frightening and Amazing

You know sometimes you see something that’s technologically amazing that it was pulled off and looks as good as it does, but sometimes that thing that’s so amazing is just sort of creepy as well no matter how much you tell yourself it isn’t. Well the new baby commercial from Evian water, is totally amazing but also a little bit frightening/creepy at the same time. Don’t get me wrong the kids are cute, the graphic’s work are impressive, but something just still makes it awesomely creepy.
It’s definitely worth a look, and the picture above really doesn’t show how funny and cute and still creepy the video remains to be. So definitely take a look at it below if you have a few seconds it’s definitely worth it

New Theme, not by choice really, and new WP version
Well today was nice I decided to go ahead with the upgrade to Wordpress 2.8 for the improved database speed it supposedly offers, well idiot me went and click update forgetting that I had set a symlink in the theme folder from /default to my real theme because of some issues i was having forcing the theme a while back, and guess what? Well when Wordpress 2.8 downloaded and installed it copied over the default theme over the default folder which would normally have been fine I mean who cares, but because it was a symlink and not the original that it was overwriting it overwrote the real theme LOL.
My own stupid mistake so i’ll take that on myself. Either way I was looking to redo the theme as the old theme I really wasn’t feeling it felt heavy for some reason. Well this theme will do for now unless something better comes along hope everyone likes it. Oh and for those wondering when regular updates will recommence… I have in fact moved into the new apartment so that’s done, but my desktop PC is D-E-A-D. Hard drive and some other issues so ya I had to accelerate my plans for a new PC so hopefully by end of the month I’ll have the parts to build myself a new PC, but this time I’m planning to build a beast. Core I7 920 with 12gb of ram and a single Nvidia GTX 275 to get me started (though I’m trying to find a cheap enough Tri-SLI board so i can expand later on to more of the 275 cards
I think it’ll handle Crysis, Arma 2 and most other things I throw at it like reencoding videos and you know… blogging and programming lol (as if those need all that power LOL)

Homemade Cherry Bomb Instructions
Ok this is a bit of an odd post for NTN but I’ve had 3 people ask me since they know I’m a DIY fanatic how to make a cherry bomb, personally I hadn’t done it before so I did a bit of research and put together a bit of a how to make a cherry bomb instruction manual for building your own homemade cherry bomb.
Let me very clear here, cherry bomb’s for those that don’t know are small fireworks but with any type of explosive and DIY theirs risk and its dangerous as hell and i always recommend you to avoid doing it, also you need to check if making cherry bomb’s is even legal where you live. But either way My friends and visitors ask and I must deliver so here it is a nice little concise how to make a homemade cherry bomb instruction set. Remember I take no responsibility for you using this instructions, I’m recommending you not to do it as it’s dangerous you could get hurt if you mess up. And no I don’t think these are the same cherry bombs that you can use for a cherry bomb exhaust as far as I understand that’s a bit different.
Supplies Needed
- One Ping-Pong Ball
- Black Powder (Enough to fill the ping-pong ball up to 75%)
- A String of Fuse (At least 5 inches)
- Small Bottle of Nail Polish
- A Razor
- A Needle (or nail)
- Some Tape (Optional)
Instructions
- Take a ping-pong ball and, with the help of needle or nail, make a hole in it, large enough to fit in the fuse.
- On the opposite side of the first hole, cut another hole (bigger than the previous one), with the help of the razor, in the ping-pong ball.
- Now, pour the black powder into the bigger hole, making sure to fill the ball only up to 75 percent.
- After you have filled the ping-pong ball with the black powder, patch the hole with tape or anything you deem fit.
- Insert the fuse into the first hole, the one you made with the help of needle or nail.
- Now, cover the entire ping-pong ball with the nail polish. It will help increase the noise of the explosion.
- Your cheery bomb is ready. Now, all you need to do is get a lighter and light the fuse.
Now as I said I’m definitly a big DIY fanatic but i’m not going to be showing how to build any homemade bombs or anything crazy these little fireworks are about as far as I’m going. But if anyone wants to see some other cool DIY projects post a comment with suggestions and I’ll see what I can come up with theirs surely a lot of ideas floating around in my head like homemade fireworks
Here’s a video of a cherrybomb in action I found on MetaCafe for those that haven’t seen what their capable of, remember I don’t recommend or take responsibility for you making one of these guys.

Move to FeedBurner completed :)
Well guys as I said things will continue to be developed and improved and the second step of this process has been completed about 10 minutes ago, our feeds are now all moved over to FeedBurner completely. Just to keep everything nice and neat for everyone we even made it so our old DasBlog link’s are working. So both your old feed links and the new rss links will all be grabbing content now via FeedBurner.
We’re still working on some other nice little features like taking the entire site multilingual which might come in the next week or so depending on how things progress and how the server load works out in the coming week. As we’re running things on our normal server (don’t have the cash for a new server yet).
If anyone has any suggestions for the site please leave a comment and let us know as we’re always looking for more input. Now that the move to Wordpress and Feed burner are completed and working (theirs a few broken URL’s still but i’m weeding them out 1 at a time to try to not loose any of our beloved visitors to the 404 world.
