    PixelShading Texture2D’s

    Hello.  I've run into a bit of a snag with some pixel shading.  Essentially I need to render certain areas of the screen through a pixel shader.  However, I do not want to pass the entire screen texture through the shader.

    Basically I'm still working on water for a sidescroller.  I've written a shader that does the job I want.  I have a few bounding boxes in the level designated to be passed through the shader.  However, I want to treat each one as an individual texture being passed through the shader as I have specific circumstances in the shader for certain x,y areas.  I don't want 0,0 to always be the upper area of the texture from the render target, I want 0,0 to be the the upper area of each individual rectangle area being shaded.

    How can I go about running the shader over each rectangle, but not the entire render target texture as a whole?

    Basically, the problem I'm running into is this.  Say I have water surrounded by tiles.  I only want the water itself to be shaded.  The shader I'm using is as follows:
