Help !! sound repeats over and over AND OVER AND OVER

I am using XACT to make cues and adding the XAP file in GSE .

I test for collisions when a ball is above the halfway mark and no tests for the bottom half of the screen.

It keeps looping when a block is hit and two looping when another block is hit and so on…

I did a test of just sound.

Hit the X button and play a sound . All the settings in XACT are the same as a sample from one of my books.

How do I tell it to stop the sound ???

The XNA pong sample from one of my books has the same code.

It doesnt do that .
