This is how to make copies of Nintendo Wii games from home

Obviously the Wii is an incredibly popular system that offers a unique method of gameplay.  It’s no wonder that lots of people want to copy Wii games to have backups to keep them from being damaged.

While these games come on a disc that looks just like your burnable CDs, they can’t just be copied the same way you’d copy a music CD.  It’s a little more complicated than that.  Today we’re going to tell you how to copy Wii games.

Your usual burning software can’t copy your Wii games the same way you would burn a music disc.  Roxio, Nero, and other music copying programs just can’t copy these disks.  Why? because there’s encoded copy guards on the disk that keeps your computer from being able to read the disc.

Obviously, it didn’t take long for someone to come up with a workaround.  There are programs available that can read through the copy protection that comes on a Wii disc.

When you have this type of program on your computer, copying a game is super easy - your computer will now be able to understand the data that was unreadable before.  This is true for games on just about any system, including the Playstation, Xbox 360, and the Wii.

After you’ve found and installed a game copying software to break the encryption, you’ll need to copy the data from your your game as an image on your hard drive.  After this, all you need to do is put a blank disc into the drive, then press a button on the program to copy the game onto the disc.

The copying softwares that are out there make it possible to copy Wii games just by clicking a a few buttons. That’s all there is to it! You now know how to copy Wii games.  Have fun!

ATI vs nVidia Issue with Normal Mapping

December 31, 2008 by admin · Comment

Hey all,

Ive got a game I am working on that is working fine on my nVidia based machine but it does not work on my ATI based system.

The geometry is all working correctly, but the normal mapping I am using does not seem to be working correctly. Ive already looked at the DrawIndexPrimitives issue, and I dont actually use this method, only mesh.Draw()

The weird thing is that all my diffuse textures appear to be fine - its just the normal mapping that appears to not be working anymore.

Does anyone have any ideas about what might be wrong?

Much thanks

Here are inputs for my vertex shader

struct VS_INPUT
{
    float4 position             : POSITION0;
    float2 texCoord             : TEXCOORD0;
    float3 normal               : NORMAL0;
    float3 binormal             : BINORMAL0;
    float3 tangent              : TANGENT0;
    float4 BoneIndices            : BLENDINDICES0;
    float4 BoneWeights            : BLENDWEIGHT0;
};

struct VS_OUTPUT

     float4 Position            : POSITION0;
     float2 TexCoords           : TEXCOORD0;
     float3 WorldNormal         : TEXCOORD1;
     float4 WorldPosition       : TEXCOORD2;

Top 5 Xbox 360 Console Games - Download Xbox 360 Games Right Here

download xbox 360 games

Attention to all Xbox 360 gamers! New year is arriving and guess what? I've just compiled the Top 5 most popular xbox 360 console games for you. Now look, for the rest that don't play Xbox 360, you can take this list and buy your relatives some "surprises" too!

Alright, are you ready for this

1. Gears of War 2

This is a sequel of Gears of War original, and to my astonishment this game certainly deserves all the praises. This game has picked up from the last sequel and in fact, experience a much better game play, more characters, not to mention the graphics, it's breathe taking!

2. Call of Duty: World at War

Now this is the "thing" if you want a real war, and yet too cheesy to be at one. The visuals combining with highly intelligent gameplay pushed the game to the furthest extent I’ve seen. The weapons and machineries are so real, you'll wonder if there's a war going behind your yard if i'm playing next door!

3. Fallout 3

Fallout 3 is the perfect game on the Top 3 of Xbox 360 console games. The superb graphics coupled with nightmare kind of background visuals of the world after a nuclear fallout. It certainly creeps me out when I'm playing Fallout 3 especially when facing the "turned-bad" human beings due to the radiations.

4. Left 4 Dead

Now for those that have fascinations for zombies, this is for you. These "bad guys" are the all time favourite, games or movies, they are just the perfect characters as villains. You'll have to survive the hordes of zombies and their bosses. Now go kill some zombies!

5. Fable II

Fable II picks up 500 years after the events of the first fable game, very creative and well laid storyline. With certain actions you can make a person good, or bad in this game. But the mature contents in the game might be some restrictions when you’re buying for your friends, make sure they’re old enough to be playing this!

Now, I suppose you're already feeling the itch in your spines to get those games, yeah? Are you thinking of downloading them? Well, don’t just go all out and sign up for any Xbox 360 game download sites yet, most of them are scams!

Here, I’ve reviewed the best Xbox 360 game download site that is perfectly safe, without trojans and all.

Well, why are you still waiting?

Download xbox 360 games right here and.. Go multiplaying with your friends immediately!

Enjoy,

Gabriel Fox

Create shots, top-down shooter - 2D Game. Help me :)

December 30, 2008 by admin · Comment

Hey everyone! I'm Simon and currently I'm trying to make a top-down shooter game.
So far I've created the ship class, and got an awesome movement of the ship. By holding left and right
you rotate the sprite and by pressing up you move forward by the directions the sprite is rotated.

But here is the thing really, what's a top-down shooter without shots'n explosion ? :)
I really never can't get a working fire "function" to the ship.

I'd like to make the ship able to have unlimited of shots just with a few seconds interval. I want them to be fired to direction
I'm facing. I'll post the part of the movement code for moving forward the direction the ship is facing:
In the update method:

int forwardSpeed = (int)(400 * gameTime.ElapsedGameTime.TotalSeconds);

int backwardSpeed = (int)(100 * gameTime.ElapsedGameTime.TotalSeconds);

if (ih.IsKeyDown(Keys.Up))

{

position.X += (

float)(forwardSpeed * Math.Cos(rotation));

position.Y += (

float)(forwardSpeed * Math.Sin(rotation));

}

If it's not really clear what I mean, go ahead and watch this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdqi–XVqec&feature=channel_page
That's how I want the shots to be :))

Hope you guys can help me !
Thanks!
